The barn has been the setting of many different events, including birthdays, confirmations, silver- and gold weddings and especially weddings are a recurring event. We often experience couples being wed in the ruins of Trøjborg Castle and celebrating the occation in The Old Barn with friends and family afterwards. The old but romantic settings of the barn make for an excellent environment for any event.
The Old Barn can host event up to 190 guests and you can arrange tables, chairs, decorations and even the dancefloor yourself.

The Trøjborg Castle Ruins are set in beautiful natural surroundings next to Trøjborg Manor, providing a unique setting for both civil and church wedding ceremonies.
Many couples choose to say “I do” among the historic remains of the old castle, where the atmospheric ruins create a truly special and romantic setting.
The ruins are also the perfect location for capturing beautiful photographs to remember your special day.
Please note: The castle ruins are owned by the Danish state. Therefore, permission must be obtained from the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces, and a site rental fee must be paid for events involving temporary structures, such as marquees, or the placement of chairs.
